One thing that really got me with the ‘dead alistair’ ending is that no one acknowledges his sacrifice … except wynne who quickly brushes it aside with a “ah yes, but today we celebrate YOU the HERO ;)” … I don’t think a video game has ever made me feel that lonely as I did then.
Anyway.
I drew my very first DA comic to cope with the ending when Alistair sacrificed himself. Never uploaded it though, since I was too conscious about how angsty it was. x) But I found it again while cleaning up and thought ‘Ey, it’s not all bad … except the art’. So I made a few changes and re-drew the entire thing.
